I’m so thrilled we chose villa Margherita ! It was perfectly situated close to Cinque Terre but also a world apart. I enjoyed Levanto, the scenery, beach and all the dining and shopping options. Fredrico and his staff were superb. Efficient, friendly, and professional. They work hard to make your stay a great one. I apprecall their efforts. Would definitely recommend!!

Cozy hotel in the Levanto area

Fantastic hotel, great breakfast, friendly staff, and extremely beautiful town close to Cinque Terre. Take the time to talk to the people in charge, they are extremely nice! Walking distance to the beach and to the restaurant area of Levanto. Did I say that breakfast was good?

Excellent customer service. The manager offered an early check in and provided useful tips and recommendations to explore this beautiful area in Italy. The hotel is overall in excellent conditions in a very quiet neighborhood. Their breakfast is superb, in particular for their freshly baked pastries. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quieter town to stay near Cinque Terre.

Beautiful spot! Close to town & not too far from the train station and ferry boats- nice breakfast and coffee - a great place to stay in Levanto! We had a rental car, so parking was one of our requirements- so grateful we had a place to leave the car while we explored Cinque Terre

We stayed 3 nights in a top floor room with a lovely view of the hills. The staff were very helpful and kind. Breakfast was excellent, but make sure to arrive early for breakfast. The property is well maintained and our room felt almost new. The room was very comfortable with the exception of the air conditioning unit which was noisy and struggled to maiantain consistent temperature. There was an elevator for the accommodation building but regardless there are a lot of stairs and the property is up a steep hill. The local town and beach was beautiful and an easy walk down hill (up hill on return). Very good options for drinks and dining. The train is a short walk away. We recommend this property and would stay again.

The location is excellent, up a slight hill, and an easy walk to the beach and the train station. The rooms are well insulated— I couldn’t hear a sound from other rooms although it was full. Very good breakfasts. Nice garden area, although it was too rainy while I was there to use them. Friendly staff.

Some repairs needed in the bathroom (rusted towel rack), and in the room (broken armchair). Breakfast was globally ok, except the milk which was not fresh. Staff was nice, and provided good information at check-in about the locality and how to discover the villages of the Cinque Terre.

Lovely villa surrounded by gardens, friendly owner speaks excellent English (he studied in England), wonderful breakfast buffet with so many options (I am gluten free and still found plenty I could eat). Cheerful staff. Smart TV in room so I could watch English shows on Youtube. Fridge in room, bottled water supplied daily. The main drawback for me was the entrance is on a busy road with virtually no pavement and some blind corners, I really felt like I was taking my life in my hands particularly in the dark. Had some trouble with mosquitoes in the gardens. Easy walk into town and Levanto was lovely, a good base to explore the Cinque Terres but much more relaxed and less crowded than them. I recommend the boat trip down the coast.

Ron was very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. Could have used brighter bulbs in the light fixtures though. The view from the hotel terrace was very nice, and the town of Levanto is only a five minute walk away.
