"Nice hotel with swimmingpool and bubblebath. Nice selection at breakfast. My room had a beautiful view with my own big balcony. . The room was nice and clean except that you could hear the train passing. When I did shut the door to the balcany it was ok. Moneglia is a very pretty and small village away from tourists. The hotel is close to the train station and perfect if you want to go hiking in Cinque Terre. The hotel is situated up on the hill and its quite heavy walking."

"We were recommended both Santa Marqherita and this hotel by a travel agent. Santa Margharita was amazing! It was a fabulous splurge hotel! It is right around areas we wanted to visit. The hotel staff were extremely excellent, front desk, housekeeping, pool staff, servers…everyone exceeded expectations. The pool, gardens and beach were amazing! This was a real Italian riviera high end experience! I highly recommend Imperiale Palace!"

"Located in the centre of the Old Port area, we found it an excellent base from which to explore the city as well as to get to the railway station for trips to Portofino and the Cinque Terre. We enjoyed being surrounded by the luxurious boats moored alongside - not to mention the galleon! Our one criticism was of breakfast, which was hugely overpriced. The buffet offering was good - fresh, plentiful and varied - but wasn't worth Euros 28.90 per person."
