Our room was beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast was yummy. We had a great time there. Claudia was very nice!. She gave us towels for the beach after we checked out and we were able to shower."

Check in was super easy thanks to the wonderful staff at Cinque Terre Riviera who made it all seamless including the lovely care package of coffees, cookies and cornetti. "We stayed July 13-16, 2025 and we were delighted with the service and friendliness of ALL the staff- they were like a second family. Andrea was very helpful, and accommodating and friendly. Let us have a choice of rooms, and made himself available at any hour. The room was nice, clean and big. The bathroom was also nice with the biggest and best shower of any place we stayed during our 2 weeks in Italy.
Very easy to access from the parking garages, quiet, clean and comfortable for a wonderful experience. If I ever make it back to the Cinque Terre I will definitely stay at Albergo Al Carugio again."
"This is a beautiful former monastery high up above Monterosso. You need to contact the hotel in advance to make a shuttle reservation and they will pick you up near the train station. The hotel also has a restaurant and bar. Most of the other guests were hikers from the trail between towns. We sat outside at sunset with a glass of wine, admiring the beautiful view. While there’s no Wi-Fi or AC in the rooms in the main building, it was very comfortable, clean and quiet. There were large windows we opened to let in the breeze. We stayed with our college age kids who loved the location."
"Perfect location. Easy walk to the beaches, restaurants, and shops. Bring light bags, as there area lot of stairs to this place, and all over town. The trains and church bells were drown out with the fan, and were mostly quiet. "
