"Perfect base for exploring Cinque TerreWe loved our stay in Monterosso! The location is hard to beat: the apartment overlooks the beach, with plenty of restaurants and bars just steps away and the old town, which was a highlight, a short walk off. It’s also an ideal base for seeing all of Cinque Terre, with the train station close by.Fair warning that there are a lot of stairs up to the apartment, but it’s worth it. The apartment had everything we needed including kitchen, living room, bedroom, 2 balconies, espresso machine, beach towels, washing machine and more. Our favourite part of every day was having espresso on the balcony each morning, taking in the amazing views and watching the trains go by.We loved walking the Monterosso boardwalk, and there are great trails around town. The hike from Monterosso to Vernazza was challenging but well worth the effort.Luisa was very responsive and took great care of us throughout our stay. We’d highly recommend this place and would happily stay again!"

"The apartment is actually on the third floor (based on USA standards). In Italy the first floor is actually considered zero 0. A bit of a surprise if you have heavy or large suitcases. There is no lift/elevator. We managed with Oliver's help.The biggest surprise and disappointment was that there was no freezer in the unit, only a refrigerator!The unit was very quiet from neighbors and Street noise. The washer was a great feature, along with the location!"

"Loved location. Bedroom was excellent. Such a comfortable bed. There is not much hangout space. Didn't realize this. But we made due, especially with the courtyard. Very interesting history and idiosyncracies. Not sure a big person could navigate the spiral staircase however. I am 6 ft 2 inches and weigh 205 lbs. But if you are bigger than me, could be challenging to get upstairs. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. Lots of character."
