Enjoy an easy family holiday on the beach! Villa Benedetta is on the Adriatic coast, by Torre Chianca Beach. A modern villa for 8, it has everything a family or friends might need for holiday fun. Only 20 minutes from Lecce, the house is the ideal place to combine relaxing on the beach with exploring Puglia’s fascinating past.

The property is surrounded by a wall which guarantees guests’ privacy and is particularly useful if you are bringing your pets. The courtyard has a seating area with a sofa and armchairs, where guests can relax. There are two shaded dining areas with tables and chairs and a stone BBQ, ensuring perfect meals al fresco.

Inside, the open-plan living room, combines a seating area, dining table and kitchen. There are two sofas for guests to watch the flat-screen TV and a dining table and chairs. The fitted kitchen is appointed with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer and a Moka coffee maker.

Sleeping
Bedroom 1: The master bedroom has a double bed and a wardrobe.
Bedroom 2: The second bedroom has two bunk beds and storage cupboards.
Extra: One of the sofas in the living room converts into a double bed.

Bathrooms
There are 2 bathrooms. Both have showers, basins, bidets and WCs.
Extra: There is an outdoor shower which is ideal after a day on the beach.

Location
In the heart of the resort town of Torre Chianca, the villa is next to a beautiful beach, with fine sand and a gently sloping shore which makes it particularly good for children and less confident swimmers. The beach at Lido Bacino (8-minute drive) has canoes for rental and kite surfing or surfing for more adventurous holidaymakers.

Away from the coast, guests can explore the wetlands and woods in the Natural Park of Bosco e Paludi di Rauccio. It is full of birds and rare plants. A visit to Lecce, (20 minutes) the “Florence of the South”, is a must. This jewel of a city is famous for its unique Baroque architecture, Roman remains, its excellent food and good shopping.

Torre Chianca has a range of restaurants, bars and cafés to suit all budgets. For self-catering there are two small supermarkets just a 5-minute drive from the villa, alternatively, there is the farmers market in Lecce every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, where you can find the best local ingredients.

The closest airport is Salento Airport, in Brindisi - just 45 minutes away by car.
