「Upon entry to the property I was surprised as it appeared quite quaint. The driveway leading up to it left much to be desired however as you need to backout of steep narrow entry onto the road. It is high up in the woods, so this may have been the problem that lead me to allergy and breathing issues. As I was unloading my car, my friend was trying to hook up the wifii, it never came up even after repeated communication and attempts. Breathing became difficult and the house was a bit musty so...

「This place was clean, beautiful, and had everything we needed for a relaxing dinner at home. After a long day on the lake, we just wanted a quiet evening without having to drive back to Houston. It was perfect no loud neighbors, nothing crazy, just a peaceful spot to unwind and enjoy time with our friends.」

「I stayed in the Cabins. And it was awesome! The room was sprayed with some type of cologne which was nice to smell upon entering it. It had robes and rubber sandals, but no ironing board or steamer. There was a safe though along with a Bluetooth clock stereo. The bed was more in the soft side but the pillows they had were extra fluffy. The bathrooms are in a shared space in the hallway, they’re are so clean and get cleaned regularly throughout the day. There’s garaged parking that does cost a...

「The breakfast was disappointing. My last stay in October there was scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon. This time there was corndogs, and biscuits and gravy. The biscuits and gravy were fine. But corndogs being the only other hot offering other than the waffle maker, was disappointing to say the least. While this isn’t an overall deal killer for a return stay, it does put a damper on an otherwise nice stay.」

「Well maintained and staffed. A bit tricky to get to from certain directions. Breakfast was pretty mundane and on Sunday morning, it was pretty much decimated by 845am. Apparently they weren't prepared to keep up with all the youth soccer players staying at the hotel. Some items restocked by 915 but still on sparse side」

「The building is nice and new. The room was clean. Breakfast was mediocre, they ran out of eggs and when I asked for more they brought so little that it was enough for about 3-4 people. They put us up on the first floor and it was very loud every night past midnight. The location is good, across from the waterpark. If you go there, opt out of breakfast and ask for a room on a higher floor. 」
