"Nicer on the inside than the outside. Just across the street from the beach. The room, and bathroom are on the small side, but clean and fresh. Good breakfast included and free parking. "
"What an excellent country pub. We have a lovely steak meal and used the garden to sit outside and have a drink before retiring to our room. The staff were welcoming, attentive and friendly.Breakfast was well cooked and very enjoyable.
Our room was lovely and clean but the toilet flush didn’t work as well as it should.
Overall we had lovely meals and a great stay made better by the welcoming friendly and attentive staff"

We were welcomed by a lovely gentleman,wish I had asked his name ,he was so nice ,all through our stay he asked if we were ok ,did we need anything,was great. The food is amazing,generous portions ,breakfast was so yummy .
Friday night was music night,weather was lovely,place was packed ,I would certainly recommend this hotel,can’t fault anything,the owner has done a fantastic job keeping it nice and friendly with the locals,decor is stunning,I have one complaint though we had to come home !

"Great location and the sea view room we had was lovely with high ceiling and huge windows. The room-darkening curtains kept us cool in spite of the heatwave and the bed was very comfortable. "This was my second visit. I love staying here. The staff are most welcoming, as are the locals. The hospitality, food and beers are all excellent. The hotel building, bar, restaurant and grounds are most pleasant. The cuisine was served quickly and is very tasty. It is in a lovely place, which is quiet and also not too far from the town. It is also easily accessible. Very easy going and no complications. If I go to Ipswich again I will stay at The Sorrell Horse again!"
