The furniture in the rooms were dirty, the floors were dirty, hallway carpet stinky and filthy, stained carpet in the rooms, those were stinky. 「Not your typical downtown hotel! We found County Clare Inn & Pub on Expedia while looking for a 2-night stay in downtown Milwaukee. Most hotels downtown are big with tiny rooms, very expensive, hard to get in/out of, and nothing is typically included. At County Clare parking was easy (and FREE), breakfast was included, and the rooms were HUGE! Attached is a nice Irish Pub with a full lunch/dinner menu. Very convenient to downtown and in a rather quiet neighborhood!」

I just needed a place to sleep the night before an event in town; in my searches I found many pretty basic hotels for (IMO) inflated prices, and a few very low budget options, and not much in between.
