There were 5 of us and were all quite comfortable. Living area on the smaller side but we made it work for the few minutes we were there. Quiet older neighborhood with a neighboring park to walk through at the end of a dead end street. Very peaceful and serene even though it’s in the city.

Super cute apartment at the end of the street near a park and trail. Quiet and great parking. Clean and very few requests upon departure. Will definitely stay there again in the future.

Great property with easy check-in and the manager was wonderfully communicative with helpful information about the property. Location was great next to a trail, and it was very comfortable with nice little touches to make you feel welcome.

We had an awesome stay at the Mocha StayAwhile Retreat. Great space, very quiet home on end of the street backing up to a walking trail and nature preserve. The hose had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. We appreciate the opportunity to stay at this property and look forward to doing so again next time we are in Lawrence.

KU Orientation Stay

We drove in to take our daughter to orientation at KU. This apartment was perfect for us. The property was clean and the owner was very responsive. Will definitely return for future visits.

I was disappointed- I had communicated that we had 6 adults staying. The listing says sleeps 6. I had expressed that i had not done a VRBO before and we would not get to the house until midnight ( since we were at a wedding and couldn't check in before). We got there and found that there was only sleeping for four. i had to send my son and his fiancé out at midnight to find a hotel. I contacted the manager and he said there was an airbed in a box in a closet. We never saw that... and also didn't see any blankets or pillows. He said there was a sleeping spot downstairs, but that door was locked.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The host was very responsive and helpful. Was a great location to anything in the area, the university, Massachusetts avenue and all sorts of lovely parks. We especially loved being right next to the trail system. Great for walks after dinner.

My family and I stayed on night on our way from Kentucky to Colorado. The retreat is as nice as advertised. Located close to amenities and multiple eateries. The host was easy to work with.

Wonderful Accomodations

This is a great place to stay. It is located within a 5-15 drive from all kinds of stores, including grocery stores, restaurants, downtown, Kansas University, and others. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. There is a walking trail just yards from the apartment. The views from the apartment are beautiful and peaceful. The apartment is spacious and well equipped. The bed that I used was very comfortable. There is a desk in one of the bedrooms, but the dining table was great place to work too. The only disappointment for me was that the the living room with the large TV and comfortable sofa is right over the bedroom of the downstairs unit and the occupants can hear the TV, even when it is set at a lower volume. I'm a night owl, so I ended up having to watch TV after 10:00 pm in the bedroom. Despite that, I really enjoyed staying here and will rent this apartment again if I come back to Lawrence.

Amazing Stay!

This property is a beautifully decorated and functional home to stay in after exploring the local community. The beds were extremely comfortable and easy to fall asleep in. The kitchen was well equipped for making meals, and entertainment was certainly covered by the surround system and extremely large smart TV! Truly enjoyed our family stay at this property! The communication with the management team was also on point!
