"Staff was rude. Asked for an adapter he said he doesn’t have, asked to charge phone as it was off, and he also refused and wasn’t really helpful "

"I really liked the overall hotel, a rooftop pool and a gym is quite nice! The staff were friendly. However on 2 different occasions there was a small cockroach in the bathroom and then a moth when windows were not opened. Wasn't a massive fan of the area - it was right next door to a group of sketchy people and police having to be there, so felt a bit unsafe."

"Such a disappointing stay. At check in the room wasn’t ready and I was asked on which floor I preferred to stay, without specifying that there would be a difference in the fare. No information was given on breakfast timings and location, spa access and other practicalities. Staff were polite but not warm, as if they didn’t care. I chose a room with “city view” which turned out to be looking at a building site. It is unacceptable to charge a “view” on it, at least until it is completed. SPA access is not free. It is charged extra and even though I was prepared to pay, nobody mentioned the opening hours, so I could not go. The location is also not great and is dirty and with very little outside. Unfortunately the positive sides are overshadowed by the whole general negative experience. A real disappointment from such an establishment. "

"The hotel is beginning to show it's age. It's rustic and has an old world charm but the description of the hotel needs to be updated with honest reality. There are many other hotels that are less expensive and have more amenities and are modern. I would look at other options considering the room rate. Would have left if I didn't prepay for the room. Also you can hear everything outside the hotel which makes sleeping difficult. I also don't trust a lot of the reviews."
