"Pilhibit House is one of my favorite hotels, at least in India. I feel at home every time I am a quest to this marvelous property. I stayed at Pilibhit House this year and last year for MahaShivratri, as it is right on Maa Ganga in Haridwar, within 10-15 minutes walking distance to Har Ki Pauri Ghat. The property is beautiful, with an inner courtyard, right on Maa Ganga, with a private ghat for Aarties and pojas. The personnel is amazing. Everyone at the Hotel makes you feel welcomed and taken care of. The food is amazing. The entire property is so well designed, with artwork everywhere, a beautiful open space lobby overlooking Ganga, with a beautiful tea cart in the middle of the courtyard, with live soft bhajan music in the morning, afternoon and evening. The sunrises at the property are marvelous! The property is a 3 story high, with a newly opened restaurant and terrace on the rooftop perfect for sunsets. The food is great! The spa is so tranquil, and the ayurvedic massages are just so soothing. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. I travel a lot to different parts of the world, and India too, and Pilhibt House is one of my favorite stays, at least in India. I love everything about this location. I cannot wait to go back next year for MahaShivratri! "

"Lovely place to stay. The staff here were very friendly and organised a couple of trips for us. If you like beautiful, calm, natural environments, I would highly recommend the day trip to their sister hotel, Oneness. The food was excellent, probably one of the best dinner buffets I’ve ever had in a hotel. The hotel is situated right next to the Ganges with beautiful views. Only downside is the hotel is located a long way from the more “backpacker” areas of Tapovan and Laxman Jhula, and the journey up there is not very pleasant as Rishikesh is quite hectic and polluted."

"We enjoyed this hotel the most on our entire 5 week trip to India. From the time we arrived we felt welcome. We loved the spiritual atmosphere very much. The restaurant staff were just as great. As westerners, we just can’t handle the spiciness of Indian cuisine, and the staff was very accommodating. They remembered to make sure we had food at every meal that was delicious. We enjoyed the Aarti at the main hotel as well, but liked the atmosphere of Holy Water better. We can’t say enough good things about the hotel. "

We booked the tours and transportation and felt beyond safe and comfortable throughout our exciting journey. "Fantastic hotel in Rishikesh. Very clean, big rooms, great service. Pool table and fuseball table on the 4th floor foyer. Lovely roof terrace with views of the surrounding hills. Very modern and clean. Would definitely recommend for families. Only slight issue is make sure to pay in advance or have cash, if you’re and international traveller, as their payment machine doesn’t not accept international cards (credit nor debit). "
