"Lovely little place and the hot tub is a fantastic bonus! Instructions given were really easy to follow and it was great to have a dedicated parking space too. I forgot to take my hairdryer so if you need one- remember to take! They provide towels, toiletries, washing up facilities, tea/coffee and even robes for the hot tub. "You really get what you paid for. The location is just 10-15 mins drive away from bowness of Windermere so it’s really a good location. "A beautiful country inn, we booked to break up a journey south and it was so much nicer than a generic motorway hotel. The food was delicious, both dinner and breakfast. The staff could not have been any nicer, everyone we came into contact with was super friendly. It’s a very old building, and quite higgldy piggldy (low beans, some steep stairs) but the rooms are lovely and the bathrooms obviously recently replaced. Our only negative at all would be that the shower is a lovely big cubicle but the opening to get into the shower is very narrow. It was an inconvenience not a problem. We would absolutely stay here again."
