Lovely comfortable lodge. Great beds, lovely and warm and great if you have a dog. Location was great but you do need a car to get to local towns (Ambleside and Windermere).Stunning park right on a Marina. Lovely bar and shop.Great comms from the owners and we would definitely stay again.

We stayed here for two nights to celebrate a birthday, having stayed here last year. It is a very convenient location for the buses into Ambleside and Keswick which we used to begin our walks up Wansfell Pike and around Derwentwater. Returning from these walks tired, we were greeted with a homely warm lodge with all the facilities we needed for those few days. The bedrooms were comfortable with plenty of hot water for the showers.

This is a wonderful property. Immaculate inside and so comfortable. Perfect for our family of four which includes two older teenagers. Would recommend to all and hope to come back soon.

The location of the lodge is very convenient for exploring the Lake District. Helen's a great host and gave us lots of suggestions of things to do. Ambleside is close by, and cruises on Lake Windermere are available all the time from the pier. Lovely drive into the mountains to visit Castlerigg Stone Circle and Keswick, Tour of Beatrix Potter's Hill Top home was lovely followed by exploring Hawkshead.

I had a fantastic three-night stay at this lodge. The place was exceptionally clean and tidy, with thoughtful touches throughout that truly added comfort and joy to the experience. Check-in was seamless, and the host was very responsive and helpful throughout my stay. The lodge is well-equipped with everything you might need, showing great attention to detail.
