"They saved us when the other hotel failed us. Other than the fact there was no elevator taking us to the second floor I have no complaints. Very friendly staff, quick convenient breakfast, clean and comfortable. Easy access off the highway for a family weekend wedding stay. "

"From what we were told, we were the second guests to stay at this property, so there were a few bumps at the start. The house wasn’t fully clean upon arrival, but after some persistence the owner sent the cleaner back. That delayed our check-in, but it was taken care of. A few essentials were also missing, and once notified, the owner responded quickly and resolved everything so we could enjoy our stay.Parking can be tricky. The long driveway is shared with another unit, so if someone pulls in behind you, getting out isn’t easy. Street parking is available but limited to two hours between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., which isn’t ideal for longer stays.The location is wonderful—quiet, walkable, and with kind neighbors. The house is cute, and though it has only one bathroom, that wasn’t an issue for us. We offered the owner suggestions like updated bedding, pillows, and towels, among other items, to improve future guests’ stays. He was receptive and grateful, and I’m confident he’ll take the advice on board.What stood out most was the owner’s attentiveness and kindness. It’s clear he’s invested in making this one of the best properties in the neighborhood. Once the initial issues were resolved, we had a great stay and would recommend this property to anyone looking for a charming spot with a host who truly cares about the guest experience."
