Lakeside Cabin with Great Views, Exceptional Waterfront, Hot Tub and Motorboat.

Lakeside Cabin with Great Views, Exceptional Waterfront, Hot Tub and Motorboat.

10/10 Excellent
"Authentic 1947 cabin with a touch of remodeling. Excellent beds, bring your own sheets and pillowcases. Everything else you might need, from plastic wrap to firewood, is provided. Dock area, with wood fired hot tub and barbeque, is indeed spectacular. Big fridge, high end Weber grills, good WiFi and cell service. Little space for groceries, because, 1947 cabin. Pine sap drops everywhere because, pine forest. Bring some cardboard for your windshield. Like most mountain lake cabins the water supply is pumped from the lake. Immunocompromised individuals are cautioned to use good judgement. A bottled water dispenser with plenty of 5 gallon refills was provided. All in all, a thoughtfully appointed property that was worth the price. Wish I could spend a summer there."

Spacious ADK Waterfront Lodge; Dog Friendly, Huge Late Aug/Sep 2026 Special!

10/10 Excellent
"This is a lovely and well-appointed home in a truly beautiful location.I kayaked around Star Lake almost every day and every day I saw (and heard) a family of loons up close. Our family also used the hosts’ “raft” several times to motor around the lake, and met folks whose families have owned homes on the lake for generations. The hosts, Luke and Meredith, were very communicative and accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed to get the most out of our stay."

Lakefront Harrisville Cabin w/ Dock & Decks!

Lakefront Harrisville Cabin w/ Dock & Decks!

10/10 Excellent
"This property is located on a beautiful, clean lake. The loft is cozy and has everything needed to make meals and relax. The bathroom is a bit on the small side making showering a bit tricky for us tall folks but we managed. Loved having morning tea in the gazebo overlooking the lake and watching the chickadees in the pines and eagles flying by and listening to the loons. We spent a lot of time on the deck and dock by the lake. There are a lot of steps to get up and down so keep that in mind. Terry was a great communicator and check in was easy. He replied quickly to any needs that arose and answered any questions we had. Plan on kayaking, there are beautiful, non populated areas to kayak in. There is a training military base a few miles away so every once in a while we would hear them training with explosives or gunfire and once we even had our own "Top Gun" jet maneuver show over the lake which was fun. :) Did not distract from our peace and quiet though. A few hiking trails nearby, Lampsons Falls was very nice. Town very small, not much to do within 1 hour drive but locals were friendly and a small market and restaurant in town center convenient. Dollar General nearby as well."

"Great place on the water! Never wavy, clear water, shallow entry. This cove was awesome for our two dogs swimming. Several small bass and a couple keepers. No luck on any trout. I wish the boat had a depth finder."

Adirondack/Oswegatchie Riverfront Cabin

Adirondack/Oswegatchie Riverfront Cabin

10/10 Excellent
"The property was exactly like the description and pictures. The bathroom looked newly remodeled. It was beautiful and large. The cabin had everything we needed. There is no A/C but we brought window fans and the night was cooler so it wasn’t an issue. I Recommend staying here. We had fun! The sound of the creek was so relaxing."

Waterfront Harrisville Home w/ Outdoor Fireplace!

Waterfront Harrisville Home w/ Outdoor Fireplace!

"So, we often stay with my brother-in-law’s family in a cabin so we need a cabin to fit 8. This cabin definitely fit all of us & still had a pull-out couch in the living room if 1-2 more people had to fit. This cabin is very nice, clean, the host was awesome & answered all our questions! We usually spend most of our time over on the SE side since family have permanent cabins over there. Most of our time the cabin was in the mornings/evenings/sleeping. Being able to park on the lower parking area was nice when coming home at dark, it was lit well with multiple outside lights & stair lights. Beds were comfy, had all the linens & towels we could need & beach towels downstairs too! It had pretty much anything you could want for baking/cooking, plenty of plates, cups, & silverware. Was also happy to have a washer & dryer so we could wash ½ way through our trip. They had several A/C window units throughout the cabin & it kept the cabin plenty cool for us! Only issue we had was the water pressure in the bathroom shower. I should’ve mentioned it early on to the host but didn’t because we’ve stayed in lots of the lake cabins & knew that can always be an issue here. When leaving we mentioned it to the cleaning person & she mentioned something new with the water system was just installed & prob just needed to be readjusted. That was my bad! We loved this cabin & would love to stay here again in a few years. Thank you for renting out your cabin away from home to us."
