"Location was great. It’s a nice little boutique hotel with a classy feel. Food was good. Pool was nice. Beach felt like our own little private beach. Hotel staff was great. Very friendly and accommodating. The lower review is for a few things — all related to issues with room access. 1: the door handle for my bathroom was loose and I got locked in the bathroom of my hotel room. Maintenance did respond quickly and got me out quickly. 2) the battery for my room died and I couldn’t get access to my room. I was left waiting in the hallway for over 20 min (being told someone was coming right up in just a few minutes) and by the time I was able to get in and change, it was too late for me to gain access to the beach from the hotel. 3) the hotel was great and accommodated my late check out request for 12:30p. However, when I went back to my room just after 12, my key card no longer worked. If maintenance hadn’t been on the floor already, who knows how I would have had to wait potentially making the time right to get to the airport. 4) I was told I would be emailed my receipt but still have not received anything 8 hours later. 5) the view of the bay from my room window was beautiful. That’s the upgrade I paid for. However, with the bed on the chosen side of the wall, it left me looking at another building and completely missing the stunning view. Had the beds been on the opposite wall, I could have been waking to a beautiful bay view. Seems a waste and poor planning. "

"The hotel had an amazing view, which was definitely the highlight of the stay. However, there were several negative points. The carpet in the room was extremely dirty I would not recommend walking barefoot. The parking situation was very confusing and inconvenient. The parking lot is very far from the lobby, and when it rained all of my luggage got soaked because of the long walk. The lobby itself is also very small and lacks proper infrastructure. On the positive side, the gym was good with quality equipment. The breakfast was very basic: bagels, bread, butter, cereal, milk, coffee, juice, muffins, and some fruit. For me, the best options were the fresh oranges, grapes, and bananas. The shower had great water pressure and hot water, and the bed sheets were clean. Be aware that check-in requires a $150 deposit, plus $15 per day for parking. Overall, the hotel was okay, but personally I would not stay there again."

"The hotel was centralized where it was close to the freeway and at the end of the strip for a beautiful walk any time of day. Lots of nearby restaurants for various food. It was less than 10 minutes Uber ride to Old San Juan, 15 minutes away from the airport. Hotel itself was nice and clean, lobby and outside was maintained. During our stay only 1 elevator (out of 2) was working so sometimes we had to catch the next ride b/c it was full. The “beach” is small and rocky, would recommend water shoes. Our room: It was good enough for a place to come back to sleep. Not sure if there was room service because we never ordered any. It is a bit dark, their lighting was 2 individual lamps, 2 small headboard lamps, and a light in front of the door. 2 of the 4 light switches in the bathroom actually turned on lights. The bathroom sink drained very slowly, not sure if that’s just how the plumbing is or if it needed maintenance. Overall I had a good stay as a place to sleep and leave for the day."

"Staff and property was amazing. The location is great right in the middle of everything and a two minute walk from the beach the only thing I don’t understand is the resort fee because it’s not a resort. Other than that for the price it’s good"
