"Location was fantastic, food was absolutely delicious. Service was welcoming and kind. Rooms are a great spacious size. Only complaint is the lack of the amenities. I originally booked this hotel as a pool was listed as one of the hotel amenities but upon arrival we discovered the pool is being turned into a gym or fitness studio which was disappointing. I’m sad they got rid of the pool! Otherwise great hotel!"

"I love the Lord Elgin for the location and the history. The room we stayed in was basic but comfortable. The bathroom had been recently upgraded, which was nice. Minor quibble: the carpet at the bottom of the wardrobe had marks that almost looked like paw prints. We enjoyed the stay and will come back. The staff were helpful and friendly."

"I absolutely loved this hotel, and their hospitality was truly exceptional. I would definitely recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Ottawa. The only thing that didn’t make sense to me was the $100 security deposit. I couldn’t find any mention of it in the terms and conditions."

"This is our third stay at Les Suites and would highly recommend. We had a two bedroom/2 bathroom unit and it had a washer and dryer too. The appliances were new and the kitchen had all the amenities required if one decided to eat in. Very central location, easy walk to By Ward Market, Parliament building and the Rideau canal, Restaurants and Rideau Shopping Centre."
