"We had a great time at Spirit Lodge. Everything was clean and as shown in the pictures. Owners were friendly and there was even more basic household items available than expected. Easy to get to but not right by town, so very quiet and cozy. Firepit and indoor wood stove with firewood provided were very nice."

"This property is absolutely perfect for EVERYONE! Excellent location - central to all restaurants, shops, the ferry and other points of interest. Nice view of Lake Superior. Our room was immaculate. The property owner, Dave, was incredible. My husband and I had a vehicle issue the day we were supposed to check in. He answered my call immediately and went above and beyond to help us figure it out. My husband and I highly recommend this property. "

"we had a really lovely time on Madeline Island. The house was just what we needed - modest, but with all the necessary amenities to cook a meal, relax and enjoy the water. The access across the road was easy and convenient. The kayaks were awesome! We had an early snag where the property had not been fully cleaned from the previous guests but Alan was on it immediately and offered compensation for the hassle which was much appreciated! Highly recommend!"

The kitchen was fully equipped, which made cooking easy, and we loved having both a front and back outdoor area to enjoy. The privacy was fantastic—no neighbors in sight—and it felt like a true getaway.One of the highlights was the outdoor shower. Even those of us who were skeptical at first ended up loving it—it really added something special to the experience. Everyone in our group absolutely enjoyed the stay, and we’re so glad we chose this cabin.We also want to thank the owner—he was extremely responsive, friendly, and easygoing. Any time we had a question or need, he replied quickly and made everything smooth. It was a pleasure dealing with him, which made the whole experience even better.Highly recommended!"
