Simple accommodations with attention to occupants’ needs. Has microwave, coffeemaker and small fridge. Tiny but nice bathroom. What made this stay was the view of the lake and the walking trail behind as well as the foliage and convenience to dining. Beautiful setting

Our stay was short, but this room met our needs. The staff was responsive and friendly. We were able to park right outside our room. Everything was very clean. Beautiful view of the lake. We would definitely stay again.

The photos on the website confused me. I mistakenly thought that all the rooms were as nice and up to date as the rooms appeared on the website. After further review I realized I did not look at ALL the photos of the rooms. There was a beautiful view from the deck-- gorgeous lake etc. But the rooms could use some updating.

Beautiful escape on Bayfield

What a beautiful escape on Bayfield. My husband and I spent our days hiking, exploring the town and checking out the local ciders. It was nice to come back to an air conditioned room to relax and clean up. Highly recommend and we will.be back

Our room was newly renovated. The lake view was good. Easy to walk into town. Bayfield is a very walkable town. The exterior of the property needs some repair.

My husband and I wanted a place to stay that was walkable to the shops in Bayfield. All the reviews indicated cleanliness, however, this place was really clean! Comfortable bed and easy walk to town. Our room was updated and really cute. There are no frills here-but if you’re looking for a convenient, Clean place to stay, this is it.

This property offered everything we were looking for. If you are looking to unplug and explore nature while enjoying modern anenities this place is for you. My husband and i enjoyed our time. Internet is spotty however the point of being there is to explore the beauty of the area. They should include a better antenna for local tv/weather. Otherwise, really wonderful well appointed place.

Only issue were the blinds don't block out the sunlight so sleeping in isn't easy, low flow shower heads. The room we were in was next to business laundry and was loud in the morning. It's a beautiful place and location is ideal only issues were the ones described.

Great place to stay - even better view

This is my favorite kind of hotel to stay in - a smaller, family owned place that may be not as up to date as some others, but it had everything you need. The view is beautiful.

I called because we were a bit early sans received a gentleman who was not helpful. However, after a staff member walked up to us and was very friendly. Checked to see if our room was ready as the gentleman it was an instant no and we traveled for some time. She found our room was available and was so friendly. She took the time and that is why our check in was good. The room is very easy to hear every sound around you. Such as the picnic tables outside our door. You feel like they are inside your room. The location is great for the trail.

Say yes to Modernized Seagull Bay Motel!

Everything I hoped and more. Terrific, modern-styled flip of an older motel. Great views on the deck. Central location. Walking trail into main drag of town. Comfortable beds and linens. Huge TV. Free ice bags in the detached icehouse. Modern HVAC with responsive thermostat. College dorm fridge and coffee supplied. Strong free WiFi in a town that lacked coverage 90% of the time was appreciated service for this normally-data-plan-dependent web surfer. We had 5 in our party: 2 adults/3 kids. Wife and I shared 1 bed, 2 kids the other, 1 kid on an air mattress. Room space was enough for that and our luggage and food, and we still had space to eat a local pizza and watch cartoons together. Great stay. If you're on the fence, say yes. Owners were present each morning, interested in our fam, and helpful with town reccs.

The room is decorated very nicely and super clean. I prefer a less firm mattress but others might enjoy how firm they are. The chairs in the room look nice but are not comfortable for sitting and watching TV. The microwave and fridge in the room were handy and I appreciated the available coffee supplies and toiletry items. Bayfield is.a highly popular tourist destination which is likely the reason for the room rate. I appreciated the backyard, chairs to sit outside, outdoor lighting and access to a walking trail. This property overlooks the lake with stunning views but is not down at lake level and no direct access to a beach. But you can walk it quickly drive to restaurants, bars and attractions. Checking was easy using a QR code in the lobby or they mentioned texting info but I didn't receive that text. Pay attention to your room choice as they have many options and I missed that ours didn't have a kitchenette but we managed with fridge and microwave. All in all a nice place to stay.

Beautiful trail behind the motel that you can use to walk into town. Rooms were clean and we had good service when we needed help with the tv remote. The outdoor chairs looking over the bay were a nice touch. Bed was not the most comfortable one I’ve had in a motel. Nice fluffy towels were great!
