「We had the BEST time at The Copper Squirrel. The property is so much more beautiful and peaceful than the photos can even capture. Host was helpful and responsive. Our stay felt like a true retreat. We will definitely come back.」

「Hot tub was not hot. No directions anywhere for turning it on. Found red button on wall but it wasn't labeled. Had to ask staff if this was the button since it was next to a maintenance door. Also no shower to wash off afterwards.」

「I rented the room based on very nice pictures on the internet but the unit we received was a very small room in the basement with bugs, dingy stairwell, no kitchen, faulty TV remote, no hairdryer or Kleenex, no AC thermostate, no comfortable furniture or place to put luggage or clothes. Other units in the house were obviously bigger and consistent with website but not unit 5.」

「Cottage 4 was a blend of rustic charm and recent updates. The beds and furniture were comfortable. We were a party of two, but it would have been roomy for four. The hosts’ welcome gift of local ice cream was a bonus. The location worked well for us. It was just off the highway, but quiet; and we had easy drives to explore towns and trails in the area.」

「The room was clean and comfortable. We were ideally located near food and shopping. We were also within walking distance of the apostle Island cruise and the ferry to Madeline Island. It was easy to contact the host and they replied very quickly. Would definitely stay there again. 」
