"My room was up-to-date and well-maintained, with generous space. I barely heard voices from the hall and never heard the plumbing from next door or upstairs. I’ve stayed in European hotels that were more expensive, one-third the size, and that needed work. The Sainte-Antoine puts them to shame. The staff is great. Most are pretty young, with good English, but more importantly were very helpful and obliging. I felt treated as a guest, not just another American tourist. Thank you. The location is close to all of the shops and restaurants of the Petit Champlain, and maybe a 5-minute walk to the funicular making it a great base for a vacation. "

The hotel is in the heart of Old Quebec, very clean and comfortable, with functional and aesthetically pleasing rooms. Even the common areas are quiet, clean, and promote a friendly, relaxing place to socialize and even play games. Hotel Du Vieux Quebec promotes upscale vibes for moderate cost. We would highly recommend Hotel Du Vieux. "
