As usual the stay was fine. However, check in was not fine at all. To start with the check in staff couldn’t find me on their system for quite some time. After getting my key, I went to my room and was very surprised when I opened the door to find it full of luggage and a Korean man lying on the bed. Although probably not as surprised as he was.
Obviously they had double booked the room, so we both went to the front desk to sort it out. Which was fine, and a very good reminder to always lock your door with the latch after getting into your hotel room.
The real problem was that the front desk staff barely apologised to me, were quite rude to the Korean guy and didn’t apologise to him at all.
