"Ok, so here's the thing. We didn't actually stay at Poipu shores. I've toured the property, it is lovely, and I will certainly rebook there !! But, there was maintenance being done to the property that meant it wasn't available. Castle management (thank you, Maile!!! you are amazing!!!!) reached out to me before the trip, and booked us in a phenomenal unit with their sister property, right down the road. 10/10, would absolutely recommend "

"We had a wonderful stay at Hale Hapuna during the New Years. The home truly lives up to its name—the ocean and mountain views are outstanding, especially at sunrise and sunset. It was the perfect place to relax and take in the beauty of Poipu.One thing we especially appreciated was how well set up the house was for beach days. There was plenty of snorkeling gear, beach umbrellas, beach towels, boogie boards, and beach chairs, with enough chairs for our entire group. Having all of this available made our time at the beach incredibly easy and enjoyable. The nearby beaches were fantastic for swimming and snorkeling, and watching the turtles especially at Brennecke's Beach. The sunrises were amazing at the Lava Arch just around the corner. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a great layout for a larger group. It felt peaceful and private while still being close to beaches, restaurants, and shops. Communication with the host was excellent, and check-in was smooth.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Hale Hapuna to anyone looking for a memorable Kauai stay with incredible views and great beach amenities."

"Excellent comfortable stay overall. Spacious rooms, large resort with lots of family friendly activities. It was a very relaxing stay. I particularly appreciated the well stocked kitchen that made cooking a breeze. Being in the south side, it’s almost always sunny and calmer. The highlight of the trip was the pool- huge and with lots of water features. The nearest large beach is Poipu, a few mins of driving. There is no direct beach access from the property but there is a lightly trafficked road where you can walk along the coast."
