Our stay at Grand Kata VIP exceeded every expectation and was one of the highlights of our first trip to Thailand. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed and treated us like valued guests rather than just another reservation. What truly sets this hotel apart is its incredible team. Every staff member was warm, professional, and always willing to go above and beyond to accommodate our family. Whether it was answering questions, helping with transportation, offering local recommendations, or making sure everything was perfect during our stay, nothing ever seemed like too much trouble. Their kindness and attention to detail made us feel completely at home. The hotel itself was beautiful, comfortable, and in a fantastic location, making it easy to enjoy everything Kata has to offer. After long days exploring Phuket, it was the perfect place to relax. This was our first visit to Thailand, and Grand Kata VIP played a huge part in making it such an unforgettable experience. We will absolutely be returning, and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for exceptional hospitality. Such a beautiful location and the staff were just amazing.

Stayed for a weekend in June. Had a room with private pool which was excellent. Extremely spacious, well stocked and a great view of the Andaman sea. It wasn't prime season and the resort was very quiet but the service was excellent. Breakfast in the morning on the patio overlooking the infinity pool and the Sea was standout each day and thanks to Ning for connecting with me on day 3. 10-15 USD Grab to Kamala beach - I did walk it once buts it's a hike, and likely not all that safe given some blind corners and quick the ascent coming back from the beach. Would return!

Lovely resort on semi private island. Very large and spread out so doesn't feel busy. Resort was fairly quiet anyway during our stay so dining areas may get busy with more guests. Several nice pools and poolside villas. Good gym and several activities available but not well advertised : paddle board, kayak, yoga, stretch, boxing. Food options a bit limited and very expensive. All inclusive offered as an option with some bookings. Complimentary speed or long boat offered to mainland.
