Hotel seemed quiet but parking was overflowing with cars parked in random places, I assume people parking here and flying from airport. We were lucky to get a space. There were other cars parked on road outside with several parking tickets. Hotel was good but parking would put me off using it again."

"We used a family room for a night due to an early flight the following day. The room was very large, clean, great beds and linen with good facilities. We also had a free shuttle bus service to the terminal. The only thing to make it even better would be somewhere to put cases on - the room was plenty big enough! "Originally I was a little worried when we found out that our room had no window--only a skylight--and it was rather warm. But Nicola (hope I've spelled that right) very kindly found us a much nicer room. Breakfast was good and the staff were all unfailingly pleasant and helpful to deal with. I like the history behind the place. It's been a hotel since the 1850s. It could do with a few touch-ups here and there but it was very comfortable and the fact that there was a bar right in the building was great when you wanted a Scotch at the end of a day."
