「Lovely well equipped lodge. Beautiful main bedroom view with large window and comfortable bed. Outdoor pool not in use and sauna also out of action. Felt prices for activities were steep especially at least £10 PP so £40 for a family of 4. Indoor pool area didnt match quality of the rest of the resort with dated and run down looking changing rooms. Overall a really pleasant stay during first week of july. Only did 2 mights which was enough. Very quiet. Saw approx 10 families during our stay.」

「I had booked a 4 night stay for some r&r choosing to stay in the manor house. My 1st day there was a wedding being held at the Manor House, some facilities not available or restricted. I had not been informed of this event, my day of r&r sadly not forthcoming. An outdoor pool was not available, in the middle of a heatwave, apparently our of season in July. The rooms I was able to enter in the manor house are tired and need a refresh, my room had black mould in the bathroom, a ceiling extractor...

「A lovely thatched roof pub with sitting out area. The lady was so lovely and welcoming we can’t remember her name but she lived right by the pub. The room was lovely, a nice comfortable bed, lovely pillows and lovely and clean. The lady who was cleaning the rooms was on her own that day and we asked if we could check in early the day before. She worked wonders our rooms was spotless. We had a lovely stay with a great breakfast. Will definitely go back. We had three rooms and 」

「Room tired, very hot as upstairs. No fan, ironing board or iron. No mini fridge to store cold drinks. Room very small, uneven floor with shower over the bath. Staff were nice and friendly. Bar and restaurant not great. Ran out of glasses, coffee machine was broken. Food ok but not great. items not available at 6pm on a Friday evening. Breakfast items not available.」

「Friendly pub with rooms. Our room faced the village road, but was not especially noisy. The village was quite remote, but convenient for us to continue our trip into north Devon. Our room was a reasonable size with everything we needed for an overnight stay. We had booked dinner in the pub - and although our booking got forgotten, we were able to eat there at the time we had originally booked. Breakfast & dinner were good.」

「Traditional pub building in the middle of a village. The bar was full of local people having a good time but no noise made it through to the bedroom due to very thick walls. Nice room, clean, huge bed plenty of indirect lighting and enough power points. New en suite bathroom. Very friendly but unobtrusive staff. Excellent full English breakfast.」
