"Highly recommend! Front desk staff member was friendly and helpful as soon as we arrived. The room, including the bathroom, was spotless, spacious and comfortable. We had heavy luggage so they put us on a floor that had a working lift. Great location in the middle of Exeter. Loved the building! Free wifi but not secured with a password."

"Food was lovely. Breakfast varied with hot options cooked to order. Dinners at both restaurants very nice but overpriced for what they are. Service very good across the hotel. Cleanliness very good in all parts of hotel. Spa treatments were amazing using TempleSpa products. Lovely grounds. Swimming pool cold and whirlpool area not heated. "

"There was a mix up at check in, where somebody else had been previously checked into our room ~ hence when we came to check in, no booking was in the system… the receptionists managed to get to the bottom of it, & resolve the issue as well as offering us a drinks voucher for the inconvenience. Was a small issue in the end, but the staff dealt with it really well "

"All was good. Except I cannot believe they cannot give free to use umbrellas. Take a £50 deposit if need be, if they are worried people take them home! "
