"We stayed for a few nights before and after our safari. We generally found the staff friendly, attentive and helpful. The hotel in our opinion is a little tired and in need of a bit of love / upgrade. It sometimes is colder at nights in Arusha, so having a restaurant outside, doesn't always work. The breakfast room felt a little like a school classroom. For us though the biggest attention should maybe considered in the rooms. Our bed was uncomfortable and we could feel the springs throughout...

"We had an amazing stay at Rivertrees Country Inn! The room was perfect. The staff was absolutely wonderful and the monkeys in the trees were the best. Would stay here again when in the area. They arranged our taxi to and from the airport. Truly a fantastic place!"

"DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL THROUGH ORBITZ/EXPEDIA! We booked through Orbitz only to arrive and have the receptionist tell us they do not accept bookings through Orbitz or Expedia. We then had to pay the girl at the reception TWICE what the booking rate on Orbitz was. To make matters worse Orbitz has NOT given me a refund for this. I called and explained the situation to Orbitz and they said they would get back to me. Nothing from them! "

"We had a fabulous experience here staying one night before our Safari and a night after the Safari. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. The area is beautiful and part of a coffee plantation. There were a couple of internet moments of on and off but beyond that, no complaints"
