"The location of this lodge is amazing, offering a serene setting to enjoy the wildlife of Tanzania when not on safari. The lodge sits on the edge of a marsh and gave us multiple terrace options (including a private one attached to our room) to do some bird watching. While there , we saw the African fish eagle and Black-and-white cascade hornbill, songbirds too many to count, along with some visiting Vervet monkeys. "This place is so beautiful, we felt a little bit like in the middle of the jungle thanks to all the trees around. The rooms are also really nice. The staff was helpful, the dinner at the restaurant was good... The only little problem we got is the wifi wasn't working from the rooms, but that wasn't a big deal for us. We loved Kizumba house"

"It is a no frills hotel but clean with great staff. On check in we were greeted with a refreshing juice. There is a laundry service. Staff are very helpful with luggage to and from room. All staff members we encountered were friendly."
