「到着してそうそう驚いたことは、至る所に種々の動物たちがお出迎えをしてくれたことである。 シマウマや水牛、サル、ワニ、クジャクなどの動物がこのホテルでは飼育されている。 庭や設備も手入れがしっかりとされており、清潔でかつ、風景が景色で、従業員のホスピタリティも完璧。 こんなにも落ち着くことができ、時を忘れさせてくれるホテルは初めての経験であった。 再度、タンザニアを訪れた際に、また立ち寄りたいところである。 」

「Relatively OK hotel in Arusha. The hotel is a little bit far away from city and main road (unable to go there by walk). Staffs are friendly and kind. The hotel has simple and small restaurant but it’s good. We stayed this hotel for very short time after Safari and left to Kilimanjaro Airport early morning. It took just one hour. It was good for this purpose. The hotel can arrange a taxi to the airport with 40USD.」

On a clear day you can see the top of Kilimanjaro as you have a gin and tonic on the veranda in the photo. Monkeys would be playing overhead as you were eating on a terrace overlooking a bird paradise. Horseback riding was great through the village and jungly terrain. Gift shop was great compared to others I saw in Tanzania and we spent loads there. Pool was great. Wonderful...

「The facilities, including the lodge, furnishings and buildings were tip top, much to like. The greenery - trees, gardens great. Some of the staff - especially house keeping were unresponsive/slow and if something was requested in the room, took too long, and once we requested towels at the swimming pool which were never delivered even after following up. 「It was a really good stay! They have a three bed room and it was so convenient. The view from the lodge reception is incredible that we were hardly in our room. All the staff were really welcoming and we made friends with them all, making the stay so much better!」

「Leider ist Vijiji nach der Renovierung in einem schlechteren Zustand als vorher. Im Zimmer ist kein Schreibtisch, von WLAN auf dem Grundstück ganz zu schweigen - obwohl ich vorab hierzu eine (unbeantwortete) Anfrage geschickt hatte. Das Bad war leider in einem schlimmen Zustand (alte Monatsbinden im Müll), verdreckte Armaturen. Das Zimmer war einfach aber zweckmäßig eingerichtet - nur leider ohne irgendeinen Tisch, abgesehen von einem kleinen, niedrigen Beistelltisch. Schade, der Garten ist...
