Deja Resort All Inclusive

"This was my first stay at the Deja Resort and it exceeded my expectations. The close proximity to Doctor's Cave Beach and the Hip Strip made it easy to get around without needing a car or taxi. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. Moya, the front desk agent, and her teammate Shane were exceptional. Moya assisted on several occasions to help ensure my family was well taken care of. I will definitely stay at this resort again."

"We had an amazing vacation at Grand Palladium in Lucea, Jamaica! The all-inclusive experience was excellent, with a delicious variety of food and very clean, comfortable rooms. Our grandchildren had an awesome time in the children’s pool, and the music and atmosphere at the adults-only pool were fantastic. Most of the staff were courteous, helpful, and respectful throughout our stay. The only exception was our experience with several staff members at the Blue Lagoon restaurant, who could have been more welcoming. One issue we encountered was on our last day when returning to the airport. Our taxi/bus driver had difficulty locating us and other passengers because he was not allowed to park directly in front of the lobby. This caused a delay in our departure from the hotel. Overall, our stay was outstanding, and we would definitely recommend the Grand Palladium in Lucea for a relaxing and enjoyable family vacation. Yeah Mon 10/10!!!😁🇯🇲"

"I highly enjoyed the experience. The grounds were beautiful and well cared for. Staff were responsive and addressed any issues that arose. The entertainment team was awesome! The nightly shows were highly anticipated and very professional! I loved the variety of foods at the buffet and appreciated having Jamaican food choices at every meal. More vegan option could have been provided, especially at the a la carte restaurants, and more transparency around costs, specifically using the phone to make local calls. This was unexpectedly expensive and it would have been helpful to communicate the rate for using the phone in our room up front."

The beach front rooms are absolutely gorgeous to see and hear the ocean, sunset etc Food was amazing . Especially impressed with the many options of authentic Jamaican food. "Properties were very clean, however, we had to change rooms because of bugs. We also had bugs in the new room. We loved the restaurants, foods that were served, the variety. We loved the shops and entertainment and informative app. All of the staff we interface with were polite and very helpful."

"Overall I had a great stay, but it’s not at the top of my list of resorts to go back to. Pros: The beach is incredible! Velvety white sand, crystal clear but somehow still beautifully blue water, perfect temperature. They keep the beach very clean. There are plenty of beach chairs and they have a floating pad on them so you can float in the ocean. The restaurant food for dinner was delicious no matter which one we chose. MOST water sports are included. Snorkeled twice and did a catamaran ride for free. They do expect tips on these. Cons: The food for every meal except dinner is mediocre at best. It’s really hard to find something decent to eat during the day. There is also no late night food. They say that diving is included, but it is only if you’re certified. You can do the class in the pool for free, but it costs $80 per person to dive The service isn’t very good. We did have an occasional server that was very attentive, but overall, the service really lacked. It was quite difficult to get a drink refill, especially on the beach. Food takes a very long time to come out, even at lunch. We were often not even acknowledged when approaching the towel hut or veggie bar. Some people might not care about this, but there is almost no music at the resort. Sometimes they play music at the pool bar, and outside of that, there is no music in the bars, at the restaurants, at the pool, etc unless they are doing an entertainment activity that is music."
