「A lovely cottage set in the heart of Braithwaite. Lovely views of the hills and woodland from the garden and very quiet and peaceful. We had everything we needed and everything was very comfortable. 「The Cottage was ideally located for lots of adventures and had a very homely feel. The Cottage has the benefit of off road parking and because there are really good amenities in Braithwaite together with the fabulous walks from the door ranging from a Wainwright to a gentle stroll around the village we didn't use the car. We particularly enjoyed the walk up Barrow and Outerside with our dog Toby. I'm sure we will be staying again.」

Did report that bins were overflowing outside with black bags piled high both on the floor and on top of the bins on two occasions (appeared bins had not been cleared for weeks).
