Quaver Cottage - a cottage that sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms

The lounge is very private and has french doors looking out over the rear garden area where you will have frequent visits from the local wildlife! There is a TV, DVD & stereo with DAB radio, CD player and Ipod docking station, very comfortable suite, fire with beech surround, oak dining table and four chairs. A garden table and some chairs are stored under the stairs.

The kitchen has fully fitted units, electric fan oven & gas hob, fridge /freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and washer/dryer.

Upstairs, the king-size room has a solid oak king-size bed, oak bed side tables and wardrobe. This room looks out directly over the River Greta and towards the fells.

The twin room has two solid oak single beds, built in wardrobe and oak drawers. Both bedrooms have co-ordinating bedding and curtains and will be dressed in luxury linen and towels.

The bathroom has a modern white suite. Bath with shower over, WC, wash basin and shaver point.

This quiet, comfortable cottage is only two minutes walk from the town centre yet backs onto the river Greta and overlooks fields towards Portinscale and the fells beyond. Quaver Cottage is in a very quiet location and is ideal for those wishing to get away from the noise of town whilst still being very close to the centre. Gas central heating and fully double glazed. *Complimentary WI-FI Provided* The cottage is suitable for one small dog

The apartment is conveniently situated a stones throw from Booth's supermarket (which has an electric car charging point) and the E-Venture shop for easy bike hire.

Excellent Location

Quaver cottage was in an excellent location for town centre, Keswick. Situated in a very quiet area. Just a very short walk to the shops, cafes, pubs etc. Also to visit so many places of outstanding beauty. The house has everything you need for a perfect holiday. The beds were so comfortable.

Cosy cottage great location

Great location close to the town centre, the supermarket and the bus station whilst being quiet and peaceful. As ever with Keswick Cottages managed properties the cottage is very well equipped, immaculately clean and with nice arrival packs that help to enhance the stay.

Great place for a short break in Keswick

We selected Quaver cottage as it was in a good location for us, with great access for an event at the Pencil Factory Convention Site and the shops/cafes. Also it was quick and simple to tidy up when it can to leaving. The kitchen was well equipped and the oven and hob were quick to heat up and very effective. Keswick is a great place to stay with a good range of shops and eating places as well so many walks near by.

Lovely house, great location

Quaver Cottage is a lovely comfortable house in great location close to the centre of Keswick. A great bonus is having a parking space. The weather at the beginning of our week was truly awful but we were snug and warm in Quaver Cottage. The end of the wek came good and we enjoyed some fantastic walks and scenery

Great cottage in perfect location

We had a super week in this well equipped and comfortable cottage sat in a quiet riverside location but only 5-10 minute walk from the town centre. Lots of walks can be accessed without the need to use the car. Car parking space a real bonus and Booths supermarket just at the end of the car park. We definitely recommend and would stay here again if we came back to Keswick.

Beautiful Cottage& Great Location

This was my first visit to Quaver Cottage and it won't be my last. The cottage is lovely and spotlessly clean, Everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is in a brilliant location, 5 mins walk to the main street but still very quiet. I have stayed in lots of self catering accommodation over the years and this has got to be one of the best. We were even lucky with the weather for this time of year. Will definately be back.

Quaver Cottage is in a perfect location short walk to all the shops ,pubs and restaurants. but its still in a quiet area . The cottage has everything you need for your stay , its is clean and well maintained . it has its own parking space . I've stayed there twice and have booked already for next year .

We've stayed in Quaver Cottage for 15 years while attending the Keswick Convention and have enjoyed our stay. The cottage is well appointed and very well maintained as well as being centrally located. Now even more convenient with the Convention being based in the Pencil Factory. Great cottage.

Another lovely visit!

Quaver cottage is a home from home for us. We’ve lost count of our visits now. Location is great, the cottage is always clean and warm and Keswick is a fabulous place to be. Keswick Cottages always has excellent customer service. Also, big shout out to the local vets who were absolutely amazing when our 14 year old dog became quite poorly. Thanks again and we’ll see you next year!

Perfect location

Another excellent stay with Keswick Cottages at Quaver Cottage. Having stayed elsewhere in Keswick this ticks every box for us. Comfortable and well equipped for our small family. A few minutes walk from the shops, restaurants and lake. A really easy and convenient parking space (unlike others I’ve encountered in Keswick!)…and now that I’ve got an EV, located right by the chargers in Booths car park (and can see when they’re available from the window). Booked again for next year.

Delightful cottage in good location

We have stayed at Quaver Cottage on 3 occasions. It is well situated for Keswick shops and Booth's supermarket. Also near to the bus station for getting around the area. There is a parking space for each cottage and also a small number of 'guest' parking spaces for visitors. The cottage is well furnished and clean. The rooms are modest in size but adequate and cosy. The location is quiet with no traffic noise even though it is walking distance to Keswick Centre. I would recommend this property for a holiday stay.

Fantastic

We’ve stayed here about 6 times now and it’s a great little cottage in an ideal location. Lovely to see the pheasants, ducks and robins in the garden. Beautifully clean and warm when we arrived. Keswick cottages has outstanding customer service and fixed the issue with the missing internet cable within 30 minutes! Thank you again!

Comfortable cottage in excellent location.

Comfortable cottage in a quiet location, yet very handy for town and supermarket! A well equipped kitchen, and books, magazines and games for a rainy day. Only criticism is that (like most holiday cottages) there is a need for SIMPLE instructions for appliances. Downloads of installation manuals are no good - what is needed is a one sheet idiot's guide. e.g. cooker quite hard to understand, and gave up on radio in kitchen. Bathroom a bit awkward because of fixed shower screen: you needed arms like a gorilla to reach bathroom taps before getting in!!
