「The lady owner was friendly and lovely from the moment I arrived. I was made to feel very welcome and was even treated to a plate of home made biscuits. The bed was comfy and I had an amazing night's sleep. Breakfast was served at a time that was convenient to me and everything was very fresh. The bread and jam were also home made. The property is in a very quiet location and in lovely gardens and provides a great place to stay during a visit to the lake district. 」

「Couple of minutes from the town centre. Good location. Staff and breakfast great. We were in a double room which was quite cramped. Only one chair and TV could do to be upgraded. Nowhere to hang coats unless you put in the small wardrobe. It is also advertised as having a guest lounge, but it does not! This was disappointing as am a light sleeper and would have been nice to have somewhere to go and sit. Our room also backed onto a gym and the lights in the car park were coming on at 5am as well...
