"Booked this stay last minute. We have stayed in Kernville many of times however never had stayed at the Riverview Lodge. It was cute, clean and very convenient! We had our own

front river access! At night the owners even lit a fire for us! Very pleased!! The staff was very easy going, helpful and kind! We will stay here again!!!"

"20 min drive from Kernville, in “ the middle of nowhere “. Begin April Google maps message was that it was unreachable, closed road, which was not the case. Some rooms with nice view in the back. Basic, kitchenette is helpful. Clean except for wear and tear that comes with older amenities. Possibility to do/ have laundry done. Overall good if you are looking for something of the beaten path."

"The Lodge is adorable with quaint furnishings but does have updated air/heating too. There is a pool area and a large fire pit/BBQ area, which one could take advantage of in summer months, which I may just do!"

"Perfect location for a quiet retreat in the mountains. The views are spectacular, as you see mountains and the Kern river from pool balconies. We got to see mountains on our balcony. Rooms are quiet and balconies are private. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfy. Lots of parking, and I felt extremely safe. Lots of toiletries, teas, coffee, and water. Easy check in and check out. Definitely would stay again!"

"The owner was gracious enough to give us an early check in, we loved the Inn and enjoyed the pool area and patio table. We spent part of the day relaxing pool side and setting outside in the evening."
