"Property is in a good location but affected by a derelict building site on the drive way and lots of road noise even at 2am in the morning as situated on the main Plymouth road, lots of late night HGV noise. Whist very tidy inside the external doors etc are in poor repair food choices' were limited, I needed a spoon to eat a very water based curry that was more like soup than curry."

"Left stranded outside the hotel after staff forgot to leave keys, after confirming directly with the hotel manager that we would be arriving late. We never were able to use our reservation and did not stay after paying in full. I called earlier in the day to confirm, and they gave me the lockbox location and code, but upon arrival by taxi (after midnight) there were no keys in the box, leaving us alone outside with no car. "I don’t know who Lord Haldon is, but one thing I know for sure is that he hates everyone who stays at his hotel. We’ll start with the positives. The views from the garden and parking area are lovely. The bed was clean and comfortable. End of positives. Both the hotel’s communal areas and our room were extremely dirty, poorly maintained, and in need of a complete renovation. The shower, in particular, was pretty gross and just about dribbled out of the showerhead. No toilet brush was provided...
