「It was clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff was excellent! A. small refrigerator would be helpful.」

「The person who checked us in was terrific. We had a problem with the initial room and he gave us a complimentary upgrade. We really appreciated that. The listing says they are not white glove. Let's just say this is a man hotel for fishermen and hunters. Care was not given to dusting or comfortable beds and pillows. It would be nice if they invested in new beds especially. We didn't eat at the cafe, but I did look at the menu. The prices for Alaska are pretty decent.」

「What a great experience! The Yurt was great! It was super clean and cozy. The bed was very comfortable! There is no bathroom in the Yurt - - there are portable toilets and a shower a short walk away. Overall I would recommend this for a unique Alaska experience!」

「Stayed two nights at Cabin #6 in August 2015. They offer reasonable price compared to other accommodations in Seward area but I will not stay again for following reasons! They really need an improvement. 1.Something wrong in drain system. The room smelled like sewerage water. Very uncomfortable environment to sleep! 2.No amenities (Dryer, Soap, Shampoo.) 3.No room clean service. 4.Old ragged towels and bed blankets. 5.Poor and dirty bath. Water tap faucet is not properly maintained....

「We stayed for two nights. The lodge is halfway between Seward and Exit Glacier. The view is amazing. The room has a small fridge but no microwave. There isn’t a way to heat anything so it’s a a challenge to not eat out. The restaurant is close but it is super expensive for breakfast and the hotel coffee shop is also pricey. Go into town for breakfast. There is limited cell service and the WiFi is spotty. Stay here for the location and the view.」

「We had an awesome stay in Homer at the Pioneer Inn. The room perfectly suited our needs and Lila & Paula were amazing. Very responsive to questions and checking in to assure our stay was satisfactory. Also, I tweeked my knee, because you know, walking is hard :). They drove me to the medical center to get it checked out, and came back to pick me up afterward. They also helped me to find a knee brace in town. I would definitely stay at the Pioneer Inn when in Homer again.」
