VRBO tried to call, no answer. I tried for 2 hours after check in time. No responses. Found out later in the evening that they expected me to just show up at the house and they were waiting! I’ve never experienced a check in process like that. Would have been fine if they had just communicated this...

"We actually didn't stay. The listing said we had a 1 bedroom but that was inaccurate as we were given a different place than what was described. The host was very nice but the place was a tiny box with a crappy portable AC unit so the place was very warm. It was super hard to find at the end of a weird dirt road. Atmosphere was kind of creepy, not scary but not clean at all. "
