"We loved staying here! The beds are great, the property is stunning, and I wish I could have these breakfasts every morning. The breakfast they put together from their own fruit trees and homemade baked goods felt like we were spoiled every morning. We got to spend some time with Stewart and loved chatting and he had some incredible recommendations for the area that made our stay all the better. Given the opportunity we will absolutely be staying here again. It's the perfect comfortable and quiet getaway spot. "

"We had a lovely but too short stay at your beautiful historic home. The location was perfect and the views and seating areas overlooking the ravine and waterfall are unparalleled. There were a few uninvited creepy crawlers in the lower level that spooked some of our group and caused us to use only the upper level bedrooms but nothing unexpected in a historic home in this climate. Mahalo!"

"The start of the stay started off well with Sarge, the property manager, and all, with him cooking for us and welcoming us in. The rules were very strict in having no outter footwear inside the house. The property was nice with a stray cat, named White Knight, being around the property to be there during your stay. However, things went downhill when we found out that one of our friends was hit on by Sarge, which made her feel uncomfortable. We were caught off guard by this action and let the other guests who went there with us, to be cautious and watch over her. "

"Lovely place to stay. Highly recommend it. Very private, loved the bathroom, comfortable bed. Location super convenient, just 5 minutes drive to downtown but you feel like you are staying in a tropical forest. Hannah is a great host, easy to connect with. Bring some good ear plugs because everywhere you stay in Hawai’i that has forest and woodland nearby will have little tree frogs. You never see them but you hear them. Also, just ask Hannah if you need cutlery, dishes etc. All available if you let her know. Would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Hilo. "

"It really was a Tolkienesque oasis. Indoor space was clean clean clean and well organized. Outdoor space was peaceful and beautiful. Hosts provided helpful info on what to do and where to eat. Super responsive to questions. Excellent hot tub. "
