"I paid a bit extra to have an ocean view and I believe I got the best view! There was a balcony with 2 chairs and a bench where I spent watching the sunrise & sunset. It was so beautiful. The only downside is there was no AC and the floors felt a bit dirty but overall a great place to stay for a quick trip to Hilo! There was a microwave and refrigerator as well so I got to store my leftovers from the night before and heat it up for breakfast. It was also nice watching locals out on the water. Theres some homeless walking along the road to get to the hotel — which made me feel a little skeptical but there is a security guard on property so that’s a plus!"

While the exterior is unassuming, the rooms are squeaky clean and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need to feel right at home. It is clear that a lot of care goes into maintaining the space. The location is unbeatable for exploring the east side of the Big Island. Being right in the center of town, we were within walking distance of local restaurants and stores. It also served as an ideal home base for our trips to Volcanoes National Park and Akaka Falls. Plus, the proximity to Hilo Airport made our travel logistics incredibly easy. If you're looking for a comfortable, spotless, and central spot to stay, this is it!"

"This is a beautiful, quiet property just above Hilo town. The view of Hilo from the property is AMAZING! Great value for the room we had for 5 days. The property is very relaxing and the sounds of the coqui frogs at night add to the feeling of relaxation and induction of sleep. I would highly recommend to anyone planning a trip to Hilo."

"The apartment was very clean, had everything we needed in the kitchen, beds were very comfortable. The a/c in the bedrooms worked fine. We walked to the farmer’s market and strolled a bit through town. "

"It was great. The accommodations had several different "living spaces" and the garden spectacular and very peaceful for early risers like myself. It was very clean and it did not take us long to learn our way around. The hostess was super nice and left special treats for us. I highly recommend staying here!"
