"From the moment we got in to the moment we left, you could not fault anything. The service was amazing, the room was phenomenal and a great choice of restaurants. I really loved the turned down service, knowing when your back from dinner everything is ready for you for bed. Recommend anyone going to Kathmandu to stay here. "

Royal Penguin Boutique Hotel & Spa
4.0 star property

"Upon entering the room we were impressed by the blue led lighting strips. It gave us the sense that we were going into a room of the future. However, they have enough other lights that we were able to read without any effort. (I don't really like hotels that are mood-lit and never able to make bright enough to read anywhere). The bath tub was wonderful. It is so great to sit and soak after a great trek."

This made it impossible to stop by quickly at the hotel to get a hat or quickly change a shirt. We didn’t stay. We left the same night and went and stayed at their sister property with an elevator. From what I could see, the penthouse terrace was nice but I wasn’t about to do stairs the whole...
