Wonderful stay at the Kaohsiung Marriott. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. Room temperature was easy to control with the room thermostat. Location was great and convenient to dining and shopping. Marriott did a great job decorating for Christmas. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Will stay here again!

Nice hotel

Comfortable and spacious room. Excellent gym and spa facilities. Connected to a shopping mall with lots of restaurants. Good location with short distance to both MRT and LRT. Will stay again definitely.

A 5-star hotel in Kaoshiung.

A new Marriott hotel in Kaoshiung. Great facilities and fun spa. Breakfast was delicious although the options are mainly catering to the locals.

Beautiful hotel and rooms. The staff were all really accommodating and nice. They were helpful and attentive. They were also understanding of us leaving early when the typhoon was coming and even waived the no cancellation fee. We will definitely be back!

The hotel is beautiful and the location is great that is walkable to the metro station. The only thing didn’t go well was the check in process. we waited in line for at least 20 minutes and someone just cut in. We had to tell the check in person that we have been waiting. They really need to have more check in staff at the front desk.

Bring your swim suit and cap. The best pool spas ever. The room is clean, spacious and updated. The shower is heaven. The only disappointment is the breakfast buffet. It was expensive, (I don't remember how much I bought it for, maybe around $15 USD) but it wasn't good at all.

The room is very spacious and everything was well prepared for my baby and my requests were all met. The bathtub didn’t drain well but other than that the room is very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and my baby ate a lot! Especially the blueberry bagel was very yummy after toasting it.

Highly recommended

I had a wonderful stay at Kaohsiung Marriott Hotel. Check-in went smooth and the staff are all really nice and helpful. I got a room on the 30th floor (thank you). But out of the 10 elevators only 4 of them go to the 30th floor. So I had a few times where I was a bit confused and took the wrong elevators before I finally got to my floor. After a few tries you get used to it though, just keep this in mind. The room was huge, clean and really nice. The spa and gym facilities on the 12th floor is must try if you stay at this hotel. I used them every day during my stay. I did not try any of the restaurants so I can not comment on the service and food here. I did have room service a few times, and the food here was great. There is a shopping mall directly connected to the hotel if you like shopping. There is also a 7/11 on the other side of the street on the back side of the hotel (you can take a shortcut through the shopping mall when it is open). The hotel is also really close to both the red and green lines, so it is easy to get around. There are also taxis on standby outside the main entrance most of the time if you prefer that.
