Hawaiian Princess at Makaha Beach

"JUST LIKE PHOTO! This was the first time to Oahu, for a wedding. We had come a few days early to explore the island and stayed in various places on the island... North Shore, Waikiki, etc. We were a little apprehensive to initially reserve this place since our group host had warned us not to stay in this area because they heard it was dangerous and suggested we book 45min-1hour away. We booked anyway hoping they were wrong primarily because it was only 10min from wedding site and the view at this place looked exactly liked what I love. Affordable ocean view, not overcrowded. Not only was the accommodation exactly like pictured, the room exceeded our expectation! The view was AMAZING! We stayed in 1408 (corner room w/private entrance and side walk way) 1 bedroom w/pull out couch bed in the living room. 2ba/full kitchen, fridge, washer/dryer, all working well w/sufficient essentials ie) pots, pans, dinning ware, coffee maker, etc. We arrived later in the evening and had the night guard ck us in. Since we did not rent a car, friends dropped us off, we walked half mile to Long's Drug store-plenty of grocery items available AND safe enough to walk to and from and night. Of course we had inquired about safety with night guard prior to walking around at 10:30pm. He gave us the thumbs up. We had no problems whatsoever! There isn't much to do as far as activities, however after touring around the island, this was heavenly for us. Enjoyed all the sea turtles nightly. DEFINITELY RECOMD!"

"We had an exceptional stay! We snorkeled every day in front of the condo— so many colorful fish and sea turtles. We could even see sea turtles from the lanai! The grounds are beautifully maintained and the pool was great! Attentive and friendly people around the condo and on the beach. The condo was beautifully decorated, well-maintained and the kitchen stocked with all the basics to make cooking easy. Mahalo for one of our most restorative vacations! Thank you Heather!"

"The condo at Hawaiian princes was excellent. The views of the ocean the cleanliness of the room and the laundry facilities that we had there was great. But the condo that I had at Mākaha Valley Towers, was dirty when I got in there, and it had dirty towels in the tub. I also had to wash my sheets to make sure I had clean sheets. I vacuumed the rooms and then I took the dirty towels in the tub and put them in a plastic bag. I let the host know about the situation. But I had a great time there. Love the pool at the property."

"Everything about this property that was listed and all pictures were accurate. Very clean with everything very neat. The location was accessible to local beaches. There was plenty of food spots close by. The unit has everything you need for your stay. Highly recommended."

"My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The beach and surrounding area is beautiful. This was our 3rd time staying in the area due to the friendliness of the locals. The fact that we are away from the touristy areas is another bonus. We also enjoyed the music that was played at the beach during the day. The condo was clean, had beautiful ocean views, and everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. However, we do wish we could have closed the lanai doors when music was playing really late at night but we had no a/c which meant no closing of doors without suffocating from the heat. Air conditioning would be a great addition to the condo. Would I recommend the condo? Yes, as long as you can deal with no a/c or sometimes loud music at night. The condo is a great value for the money.Robin HP"
