I love the privacy and ability to text owner about anything during my stay. The other guests are friendly and helpful also. It's a pleasant place to stay.

Do not stay!
This is a private residence in the middle of a nasty neighborhood. This proprietor is renting rooms out of his house. We pulled up in a taxi and did not even go in. The driver seemed to be aware of the situation and did not advise staying there. Enough for me!

what I expected...
Its an ok place to stay if you are in a budget and you have a rental car. Yes...I really mean it. The downtown one way trips takes around 28-32$ one way so rental car will be better option. not much restaurants near the place. if you have booked the tours, none of them will pick you up from this location. apart from that, the location was nice, quiet neighborhood and room was comfortable and clean. the owner was hard to reach most of the times. they also give cars on rental so if you can reach the owner after your booking, that's a plus!

DO NOT STAY HERE
We'll be writing a detailed letter to Expedia later this week, but for now I will mention these things: 1) the place is not as advertised; 2) the "caretaker" made me feel very uncomfortable and he LIED: we left 2 hours earlier than planned due to his burning a substance inside the house that compromised our breathing, then he lied about it; 3) Bears. This should have been disclosed in the description; some people may find that exciting. We didn't. Visitors should be forewarned that the side entrance to this house, where we were instructed to go, is frequented by 3 bears.
