「The couple who owns the place was very nice, accommodating and friendly. You have to pay attention when you first arrive, as the area is not marked very well. the beds were very comfortable and the view from the balcony was perfect. 」

「These are pretty rustic cabins, but they are clean and comfortable. Also, the WiFi is fast. Expedia double booked the family cabin so when we arrived, the only cabin left was a studio with 2 full beds - and we are 5 people. The host called his daughter and she brought over a cot to put in the living area. We were so grateful not to have to find another place! I can't say enough nice things about this host. He lives next door and is totally willing to help out in any way. He has 3 milk cows...

「We flew in to San Jose around 12pm. We headed out of town towards La Fortuna. I thought this would get us out of the city and close to our first day of activities. The area was quiet. The room was very clean. We speak very little Spanish and the staff spoke very little English. However we were able to communicate to get what we needed. The hotel is one block from the Main Street. We found the supermarket with ease. The breakfast was wonderful. Fresh fruit with a large breakfast of beans...

「This lodging is a hidden gem away from Poas but close enough to get to the crater within 20 minutes. The views from the dining area were spectacular. The owner, Cindy, communicated clearly and often. She provided excellent directions to the property which is located high up on a hill in a residential area. The bedding was comfortable.
