Slip into the ease of the desert in our serene and newly re-imagined home tucked into the hills of Joshua Tree. The house is secluded and centrally located while also feeling remote and surrounded by desert gardens and Joshua Trees. The Sukha Hideaway is the perfect romantic desert hideaway with 1 bedroom/1 bathroom, living room w/indoor fireplace, full kitchen, cozy 2-person hot tub and fire pit under the stars.

The Sukha Life means to live easy. This is the place ease finds you.

• THE SPACE
This private and romantic hideaway sits on 5 acres and is surrounded by lush desert landscape. The home was created with tranquility and serenity in mind and often times little jack rabbits, quails and hummingbirds can be seen wondering through the garden. The home has modern amenities while still keeping the charm of the original homesteader with polished concrete floors, 1 bedroom with king bed, 1 bathroom, living room with fire place, dining table, kitchen stocked with everything one would need to enjoy cooking away from home.

•THE OUTDOORS
The outside of the property is expansive with many different outdoor areas to lounge and relax, day or night! There is a covered wrap-around porch with outdoor couch perfect for watching the sunrise, a BBQ for enjoying meals cooked on the grill, a 2-person hot tub set to view the mountains and stars to the south. Follow the path down to the fire pit under the stars or lay on the lounge chairs while you count shooting stars. However you decide to spend your time at The Sukha Hideaway, the desert won't disappoint.

• RENTAL AGREEMENT
There will be a rental agreement sent out that will need a signature to complete the reservation

• A/C
Suhka Life Retreat is cooled by central mini splits for heat and air. This will help keep the house cool during warmer desert days and warmer during those chilly nights.

• HOT TUB
The hot tub is set up to automatically filter so you may hear it turning itself on and off. That is totally normal.

• ROAD TO THE HOUSE
The road to the house is a dirt road. An SUV wont be needed as they are maintained dirt roads but they can be a little bumpy.

• WIFI
Desert wifi can be super spotty and can go in and out. We have the best service for our rural area but people needing full time high speed might not find those needs met here.

• FIRE
Due to the location and a current open fire ban there is a strict no outside wood burning fire policy. If it is discovered that you have started an outside fire, using fireworks or other open fire means your rental agreement will be terminated and you will be asked to leave.
WE DO HAVE A PROPANE FIRE PIT FOR YOUR USE AND ENJOYMENT.

• GUESTS
You are not permitted to have any guests on the property beyond those included in your rental agreement unless you request and receive permission from us. That includes day guests and over night guests.

• IDENTITY VERIFICATION
You will receive a text or email from Guest Ranger that will ask you to verify your identity and submit a picture of a government issued ID and a selfie. This information will be used to verify that the booking guest matches the credit card used and to help reduce any issues with identity theft. This process is mandatory to complete the booking. The data is protected in a hash-encrypted vault following data security standards including GDPR. Data-input in the vault is encrypted in a two-way function where information is scrambled using an encryption key and unscrambled later using a decryption key. On top of that, we use hashing to add an extra layer of security using a one-way function where a unique message digest is generated from an input file or a string of text. No keys are used.

Connect with your soul during your desert stay. Experience a private or small group session of kundalini yoga, meditation, and/or sound bath by private teacher and energy guide.
