「It’s a Hostel direct on the Beach. It has 2 rooms with a touch of luxury but it is and remains a Hostel and not a Hotel. We had one of this luxury room with balcony and it was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The service lady’s was very friendly and helpful. Around the hostel are many other hostels and restaurants for lunch and dinner. We had a nice small breakfast in the hostel. 「This is truly an absolutely unique and unreal place to stay. Our only regret was not staying longer. The pods are stunning and very comfortable with all little detail very well thought of. The owners are fantastic, very accommodating and hospitable. And we also loved the dogs. 「We have stayed here as a family (2 adults, 2 children under 8) and as a couple, and it was perfection both times. The staff are incredibly friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The food is amazing, the pool is stunning, and waking up to nothing but the sound of the river and birds was complete bliss. It’s extremely close to the entrance of Parque Tayrona, and a short drive to waterfalls. I have recommended this hotel to anyone who will listen. It is by far my favourite hotel in Colombia. 」

「Overall the hotel was good. I wish it was truly beach front but is less than 200 yards to get there and there is a section reserved for hotel guests to sit with chairs and a covering provided. I would come back if I ever found myself in Santa Marta again there was no single instance where I second guessed my decision to stay here. The food was excellent and the drink (when I ordered one) were good as well.」
