"Excellent stay! Everything was excellent from beginning to end. The service was very good, the rooms were spectacular, and the pool was beautiful. The nightly show was also absolutely spectacular and made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I was very happy with the experience and would definitely recommend this hotel. The only recommendation I would give to international guests is to make sure they know how to identify the hotel staff when going out to the beach. Some of the beach vendors can be a little persistent and may approach guests frequently. As long as you can easily recognize the hotel employees and know who to ask for assistance, everything is perfect. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I am very happy with my stay!"

"Great people and beautiful scenery. Pack light as there is lots of stairs. Bring lots of sun screen and cash as there is no atm machines there and the few places that take cards will charge you a 10% surcharge."

"Villa Tayrona exceeded my expectations. The property is peaceful, beautiful, and surrounded by breathtaking mountain and sky views. Everything was very clean, and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. One of the highlights of my stay was definitely the food. I had the arroz verde Tayrona with shrimp and a coconut limonada, and they were so delicious that I ordered them again the next night! The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating throughout my stay. Lena made transportation from Barranquilla airport simple and stress-free and even arranged food and drinks for my late-night arrival, which was such a thoughtful touch. I also appreciated how helpful everyone was with explaining local bus transportation, which turned out to be the easiest and most affordable way for me to get around. The location is perfect — within walking distance to Tayrona National Park. The friendly dogs and cats on the property made the experience feel even more warm and welcoming. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Colombia. 🌞💛"

"We had a lovely, short stay at Finca Barlovento. The property is beautiful, the atmosphere is restful and the overall feeling is very private and low-key, with a high level of service. The staff was very conscientious and accommodating. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Food offerings are good, though somewhat limited, but we were only there for a couple of days so this was not really an issue. We used the pool and spa services - the pools are small but refreshing and massage was wonderful! I recommend this location to people who want to be in a natural setting. Since it is adjacent to Tayrona National Park, it's an extremely comfortable place to land after longer beach hikes in the park."
