We came to see the total solar eclipse in April – the location was 10 minutes from Fredericksburg, but off a country road so we avoided all the crowds and just relaxed. Everything was in order and working when we arrived. Our hostess arrived every afternoon with a basket of goodies for the next morning breakfast and the kitchen was stocked with other breakfast staples. 「From the first message asking about the property, Emily was a delight. She went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and unforgettable. The house is extremely cozy, has a beautiful backyard with a great fire pit for some late night wine and chocolate. The location is wonderful, walking distance from nice restaurants and bars; please check Reck’em Brewery a few blocks from the house and get the BBQ Nachos, you wont regret. We will be back without a doubt!」

「10 of us flew to Austin for the eclipse. We booked this beautiful property almost a year ago and we are all so glad we did. Plenty of room for 10 of us. We never felt crowded. Even in the kitchen. Comfy furniture and beds. Gigantic TV and excellent wifi. Big deck overlooking the really beautiful Texas hill country. Great sunsets and great eclipse watching. The host was very responsive and very helpful. We would gladly rent this home again anytime.」

「We loved gathering with our family at this beautiful and quiet farmhouse. It is perfectly set up for a crowd with great indoor and outdoor gathering spaces. Lots of very thoughtful amenities! A bit outside of Fredricksburg, but we loved the trees, sunsets/sunrises, wildlife, nearness of many wineries and easy access to Albert Dancehall. Couldn't have asked for a better stay!」

「We booked 2 years ago in anticipation of the solar eclipse happening on our 35th anniversary. We looked for a place large enough that we could include our family for these significant events. The house worked perfectly for us and our 3 kids/families. Ages ranged from 16 months to almost 70. Plenty of room for comfort. Kitchen was very well equipped my only suggestion would be to add a basic Mr. Coffee pot (we brought our own) in addition to the Kureig—2 pots a day for 8 adults equates to a lot...
