It’s an amazing hotel, service and attention are great, all the time the staff is attentive to your needs. The hotel facilites are pretty, the are remodeling some áreas, but the gardens, pool, restaurant, rooms are increíble.

The hotel and landscape is great with the japanesse gardens and great lawns. The offer in the restaurant on sundays afternoon (there were open 1 of 3 resraurants) was limited.

Decent hotel, needs upgrading

The hotel’s outdoors is really nice, rooms need a lot of updating and upgrading. AC in my room was so loud I could not sleep. Bed was very comfortable. Service was slow in restaurants and overall food quality is regular.

Unique property, surrounded by beautiful gardens, japanese buildings & flavors . The service is generally very good. The staff really tries to make things work.( Special thanks to Juan -bellboy-) It would be appreciated if more medium sized bottles of water was offered in the rooms. I was told the pool is going to be renovated, and once finished , I think it will be a huge plus. Can't wait to visit it once the renovation is completed.

Tranquil and relaxing place. The gardens and the space dedicated to nature are amazing. Service is great. There was only one restaurant, and it was a Japanese sushi place. Not Mexican cuisine, no air conditioning in the restaurant, and a lot of flies in the food. The Hotel needs an upgrade as soon as possible. The ice machine was not working, and we had to call room service. The room only offered two cups of coffee for the stay; the rest had to be purchased.

I just came back from Sumiya Hotel, and while it certainly has some appealing features, my experience left much to be desired. First and foremost, the check-in and check-out processes were frustrating. With only two desks available and a limited number of staff, we faced long waits on both occasions. The hotel offers a concierge service through Whatsapp, which seemed like a great idea, but I was disappointed to find it unresponsive when I needed assistance with arranging a taxi. We sought help from the front desk on three different occasions, requesting taxis at specific times, but each time, we ended up waiting over 30 minutes. This lack of reliable transportation support really hindered our plans. Additionally, our dining experience at one of the hotel restaurants fell short. Service was lacking, and unfortunately, my daughter and niece never received their meals at all, which was quite disappointing. On a positive note, the hotel rooms were quite comfortable. The beds were super soft, and I appreciated the quick room service whenever we needed it. Overall, while Sumiya Hotel has potential with its cozy accommodations and beautiful gardens, significant improvements are needed in service and responsiveness to create a more enjoyable experience for guests.

Good afternoon. Service people very nice. Main problems: -Cold shower, reported it and never got fixed. Only excuses -No water bottles in room -Hotel was empty and very persistent to leave by the hour eventhough we were consuming in the pool snack bar -Didn’t make room up until after 5:00 pm Everything was nice and staff very nice.
