"The location was convenient because it was close to Penn Station. However, the room condition and facilities inside of the room were not good, especially the bathroom. Even though I booked the executive room, it was not what I expected. I highly recommended not include breakfast for extra fees because the choices were limited (not a buffet style). "

"Room was great. Close to everything, walking distance to Wall Street, 9/11 museum/memorial, and the subway. My only issue was someone was smoking cigarettes in the room next to us and the smell was horrible. I tried calling the front desk several times and no one ever picked up. I ended up going down to let them know and by the last day of our 4 days there it was more manageable or I got used to it. "

"The hotel is good but the check-in process sucks. I’ve stayed here about 4 times in the last 18 months as I travel to an office in the financial district and like the proximity. I usually arrive to check-in around 6pm after being in the office all day and this is the 3rd time that I had to wait at least 30 minutes for my room to ready even when “check-in” is 3pm. With so many options in the financial district I won’t be staying here again even though I like the rooms, the shower and general layout. Don’t say check-in is 3 when most of the time it’s not because you cater to airline crews and let them stay in their rooms until late. I don’t know this is true but every time I has to wait it a lot of airline crew were meeting in the lobby to leave and then magically my room was ready thirty minutes later "

"Very charming hotel! The deco and furnishings are incredible. Room size is very large for Manhattan. Every staff we encountered was friendly and helpful. The local is surprisingly convenient. Subway station is just across the street. 15 minutes walk to Chinatown. The bar/restaurant at the lobby level offers jazz performance and pretty good food. 10 in 10 experience."
